Overview
Subtitle decorators in Wildmoka define the styling and visual formatting of subtitles used in live or on-demand video content. These are editable templates that allow precise control over font, color, positioning, and more.
Step-by-Step: Managing Subtitle Styles
Access the Clip Manager
Click on the Clip icon from the main left navigation bar.
Navigate to Decorators
Select Decorators from the dropdown.
Open the Subtitles Section
Choose Subtitles.
This opens the subtitle decorator library.
Working with Subtitle Styles
Each subtitle style is a decorator that controls how subtitles appear visually.
From the list, you can:
Open an existing subtitle style
Clone it to create a new variant
Hide or delete styles you no longer use
Set as default to use it as your default preview style
Subtitles Style Editor
When you open a subtitle decorator:
The left panel shows a preview of how subtitles will appear.
The right panel is the style editor where you can:
Modify the global appearance of subtitles
Customize styles for individual components (font, color, position, background, etc.)
Subtitle decorators ensure consistency across videos and are essential for accessibility, branding, and localization workflows.

A new subtitles option to automatically optimize the length of the subtitle pages to vertical video.
