Getting Started with Wildmoka

Welcome to Wildmoka, the cloud-based digital media production platform built to help you ingest, edit, and publish content at speed across all digital platforms.

This guide will walk you through the essential steps to get your account up and running, from setting up your environment to publishing your first clip.


What is Wildmoka?

Wildmoka is a SaaS platform designed for broadcasters, publishers, and digital media teams. It empowers users to:

  • Ingest live streams or files

  • Create video clips, highlight reels, or full channels

  • Add branding and graphic overlays

  • Publish instantly to multiple digital destinations

Whether you’re working with live events, news, or pre-recorded content, Wildmoka helps execute your digital content strategy seamlessly.


Quick Start Checklist

Follow these five core steps to configure your Wildmoka environment and begin publishing content:

1. Create Destinations

Destinations are the platforms you want to publish to (e.g., YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, custom S3 buckets, or FTP).

To add a new destination:

  • Click the Destinations icon in the left sidebar.

  • Click the red “+” button.

  • Select a platform (e.g. YouTube, Facebook).

  • Authenticate and link your account.

  • Save the configuration.

2. Configure Your Ingest Stream

Wildmoka supports RTMP, SRT and HLS streaming formats.

To create a new ingest stream:

  • Click the Streams icon in the sidebar.

  • Open the “Live Streams” tab.

  • Click the “+” button to add a stream and configure

  • Toggle the “Activate” switch to start the DVR recording.

3. Define User Profiles

Profiles control user permissions, available features, and content access.

To create a profile:

  • Click the User Management icon.

  • Open the Profiles tab.

  • Click “+” to add a new profile.

  • Choose permissions (e.g., create clips, manage channels).

  • Select which content sources and destinations the profile can access.

4. Add New Users

Each user should have their own login, linked to a Profile for role-based access.

To add a user:

  • Go to the User Management tab.

  • Click the red “+” button.

  • Fill in user details (email, name).

  • Assign a Profile or set custom permissions.

  • An automatic email will be sent to the user with credentials.

Note : Users can belong to multiple profiles and switch between them from their dashboard.

 


5. Create and Share Your First Clip

The Clip Editor allows real-time or file-based clipping with automated branding and direct sharing to destinations.

To create a clip:

  • Click the Scissors icon in the navigation bar.

  • Open a live stream or file.

  • Click “Make Clip” to set the OUT point and open Clip Edit mode.

  • Use IN/OUT markers to define your clip.

  • Enter metadata (Title, Description).

  • Select or confirm destinations.

  • Click Publish to send the clip to your selected platforms.

Set Up Access & Permissions

If you’re an administrator:

  • Use Profiles to define what each role can do.

  • Assign those profiles to user groups.

  • Control visibility, publishing rights, editing features, and access to streams and templates.

This structure ensures teams stay focused on the content they’re responsible for, with access tailored to their workflow.
