What Are Publish Templates?
Publish Templates in Wildmoka are essential tools that streamline the process of clip creation and publication. They ensure that every clip follows pre-defined branding rules, styling, and publication workflows—reducing friction, limiting human error, and saving time across editorial teams.
These templates are especially valuable for broadcasters and digital publishers who need to maintain consistent look-and-feel and automate multi-platform distribution.
What Can a Publish Template Do?
A template allows you to pre-configure several aspects of a video clip:
Visual Decoration
Pre-rolls & Post-rolls: Intro and outro segments automatically added.
Branding Bugs: Static images/logos placed on-screen.
Text and Dynamic Overlays: On-screen graphics and text layers.
Backgrounds & Layouts: Predefined compositions for visual consistency.
Thumbnails
Configure thumbnail templates using variables (e.g. team names, event titles) to dynamically generate preview images.
Publication Rules
Define destination platforms (e.g., YouTube, Twitter, custom CDN).
Set specific rules per platform, such as
Geoblocking
Monetization policies
Metadata structure
Templates ensure that editors don’t forget required fields or misconfigure a post—helping maintain brand integrity and platform compliance.
