Global Access Toggle
Within the content access panel, a global toggle controls whether a user or profile can access all content and streams across the platform.
-
If enabled:
The user or profile will have access to:-
All clips, including their own and those created by other users (visible in the Clip Management interface)
-
All events, regardless of the creator
-
All streams available on the platform (if the "Clipping" permission is also enabled in the Permissions tab)
-
-
If disabled:
A more granular configuration is applied, allowing you to define:-
Which clips and files are accessible
-
Which stream sources can be used for clipping and event creation
-
Global Clips & Files Access Policy
This setting determines which user-generated content the profile can view:
-
User content + Profile content (default)
Users can view their own content as well as any content created by users assigned to the same profile. -
Choose specific profile
Users can view content created by another specific profile.
Example: A user in the “Moderators” profile can be configured to only see clips from the “Editors” profile.
Streams Access
In the Streams Access sub-panel, you can explicitly select which streams a user or profile is allowed to use.
-
Only the streams selected here will be available for:
-
Clipping
-
Creating scheduled events
-
This ensures full control over which sources are accessible per user or profile.
