Clip can be cut into scenes (manually or automatically), which is very important to repurpose video from 16:9 to other ratios such as 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5.
Scenes can created manually or automatically using the ‘Auto’ button.
Split scenes
Use the ‘Split’ button or its shortcut (‘S) to create a scene.
Clips in Wildmoka exists by default in multiple Aspect Ratio. A scene cut is only applied to the aspect ratio currently in preview.
Merge & Exclusions
A scene can be merged with the neighbour (left or right) scenes using the merge buttons
A scene can be excluded from the edit with the exclude button
Apply Layout
Clicking on the top part of the video ribbon opens the video scenes panel. From this panel, users can apply a layout from a pre-configured selection.
Viewports
A layout itself may contain one or multiple viewports. These viewports can be:
Positioned and resized directly on the video
Positioned and resized from the scene tab
Reframe
Use the reframe interface to refine your cropping and/or tracking.
This interface supports keyframes which can be added automatically or manually.
Auto Rezone for clips
Auto Rezone for clips is an add-on. It enables an intelligent layout selection and reframing based on image analysis performed during the ingest of streams and files. It can be activated for file ingest and stream ingest.
It is activated with the ‘Auto’ button available in the edit controls.
