Wildmoka allows users to browse and leverage existing assets stored in Iconik, making it easy to repurpose and publish assets across platforms.
Browse Iconik Assets in Wildmoka
Browsing Iconik content from Wildmoka is only available if Allow Iconik browsing from Wildmoka has been enabled in the Iconik destination settings.
To browse:
In Wildmoka, open the Assets menu.
Select Browse External Content.
Locate and select your Iconik domain.
If the domain is not visible, verify that you have access rights in Profile Management → Sources.
Search and Filters
Users can search across accessible Iconik collections.
Visible assets are determined by the user’s Iconik permissions.
If "Manage Iconik browse and publish access via email mapping" is enabled, browsing rights align automatically with the user’s Iconik account.
Search filters are available and organized by Iconik metadata views, allowing more targeted navigation.
Repurpose Iconik Assets in Wildmoka
Depending on how the asset exists in Iconik, different actions are available:
Assets with a Wildmoka Format
Assets that have been prepared using a Wildmoka transcoder within Iconik are instantly editable.
Click Clip on file
The asset opens directly in the Wildmoka Clip Editor for immediate editing and repurposing
No import step is required.
Assets without a Wildmoka Format
If the file has not been processed by a Wildmoka transcoder:
Users will have two options:
Import → download into Wildmoka for full editing capabilities
Publish → review the asset, update metadata, and publish it as-is
Editing is not available unless the asset is imported first.
