This release brings a number of usability enhancements to the new clipping experience, introduces self-serve credentials for an immediate access to Wildmoka APIs, and supports the latest Apple iPhone video formats.
What's new in this release:
Clip editor: usability enhancements
Several small usability enhancements have been brought to the new clip editor, based on our pilot customers’ feedback, related to keyboard shortcut behavior, the video scrubbing bar precision, and the zoom level settings.
How it works:
- Keyboard shortcuts are triggered on key release instead of key press, for a more precise control.
- The video scrubbing bar (under the video player ribbon) has a larger hit zone, a grab icon is displayed when the mouse cursor hovers over the hit zone, and the bar sensibility has been slightly scaled down for providing users with a smoother control.
- The zoom level settings for the clip timeline are now persisted per user, even after the clip editor is closed.
Why this helps: These enhancements make clip editing more precise, intuitive, and personalized, helping you work faster with smoother controls, clearer interactions, and a timeline that remembers your preferred zoom settings.
Self-serve Wildmoka external API credentials
Most Wildmoka features can be supported via external public APIs. All developers can get access to the Wildmoka API documentation and integrate Wildmoka functionalities within their own apps. With this new release, it’s not required anymore to contact Wildmoka representatives for getting API credentials. Any Wildmoka user can request and immediately receive authentication credentials directly from the user management page.
How it works: A Wildmoka user can now request and receive Wildmoka API credentials immediately from the user management panel, via the new panel tab ‘APIS’. Two types of credentials are available: JWT or HMAC.
Why this helps: Self-serve Wildmoka API credentials allow any user to start integrating Wildmoka features within their app or infrastructure environment without heavy process nor delay. A typical use case would be scheduling new events in Wilmoka from an upstream customer’s scheduler, workflow engine, or corporate calendar app.
Source: Support for iPhone 16 Pro Max files
Since the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple video files now have an extra audio track. This new format is now supported for imported files in Wildmoka.
Why this helps: Wildmoka now fully supports the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max video format, ensuring seamless import and editing of your files without compatibility issues or extra processing steps for leveraging its additional audio capabilities.
Availability: These updates are available to all Wildmoka users.
