Publishing clips from a live production

When you work with clips that were recorded during a live production, you can publish them to TikTok the same way as pre-recorded clips. A few things behave differently in this context:

Daily counterThe posting counter is not shown in the panel for live clips. The counter itself is specific to pre-recorded clip publishing — but TikTok's daily limit still applies, so keep this in mind if you're publishing a high volume of clips from a single live event.
Aspect ratio & renditionThese selectors are disabled for live clips. The video format is determined by the live production settings, not the destination configuration.
All other settings

Caption, privacy, draft mode, thumbnail, interaction controls, and brand disclosure settings all work identically to standard clip publishing.

To have TikTok appear as a destination only within a live production context, go to the destination settings and set Visibility to Content clip live. This keeps the destination out of the standard clip publishing panel.

Direct TikTok Live streaming

Going live on TikTok in real time (as opposed to publishing recorded clips) requires a separate configuration. Direct TikTok Live streaming uses an RTMP output from Wildmoka connected to your TikTok stream key.

TikTok Live access is not available on all accounts. TikTok grants Live access based on account standing and follower count (typically 1,000+ followers). If your account doesn't have Live access, the stream key option won't appear in TikTok's settings.

To configure a direct live output to TikTok, contact your Wildmoka workspace administrator to set up the live streaming destination with your TikTok stream key and server URL.
