September starts with the audio scene edition in our new clip editor! We’ll update this section with upcoming features as they’re rolled out in September.
What's new in this release:
New clip editor: Audio scene edition
This feature brings the new editor to parity with the legacy editor for audio editing. It restores the ability to split the audio track into scenes (segments) and edit each scene individually.
How it works: A new audio wave icon has been added to the player ribbon menu. Clicking the icon splits the audio track into two scenes at the playhead position. Right-click inside any audio scene to edit it. For each scene, you can:
- Adjust the volume — raise, lower, or mute the audio for that scene.
- Apply fade in / fade out — create smooth transitions at the start and end of each scene.
Why this matters: Audio control is essential for producing polished clips, whether you're ducking background music under speech, muting unwanted noise, or smoothing transitions between scenes.

Available to all customers, since September 3, 2026.
